This distributor features an aluminum housing that is CNC-machined for closertolerances than any conventional cast distributor. Plus you get an adjustablemechanical advance which can be easily tailored to any engine by changing the stop bushing and advance springs.Triggering the MSD Ignition system is the same high-output magnetic pickupthat is used in our racing distributors. This pickup produces an extremelyaccurate trigger signal and is maintenance-free

- Must be used with an MSD Ignition Control
- Supplied with a cap with HEI style terminals and rotor
- Nylon pads ensure smooth operation of the advance weights
- Advance weight pins are staked and tig welded to the plate
- Mechanical advance assembly can be locked out for crank trigger systems
- Advance plate and weights are fine blanked from chrome moly steel and QPQ coated for friction reduction
- Polished steel shaft is QPQ coated and guided by a sealed ball bearing
- Maintenance-free magnetic pickup and precision reluctor create stable trigger signals throughout the rpm range
- CNC machined billet aluminum housing and Dupont Rynite base
- Supplied springs and stop bushings to create a variety of timing curves
- Easy-to-adjust mechanical advance is mounted on top of the shaft
